La seva producci\u00f3 intensiva, per\u00f2, tamb\u00e9 les converteix en un cultiu molt exposat a l\u2019\u00fas de fungicides i insecticides.<\/p>\n<p>Per con\u00e8ixer millor aquesta pres\u00e8ncia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pan-europe.info\/press-releases\/2026\/07\/european-strawberries-widely-contaminated-pfas-and-endocrine-disrupting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PAN Europe<\/a> i onze organitzacions associades van recollir 41 mostres produ\u00efdes localment: 36 de convencionals, quatre d\u2019ecol\u00f2giques i una d\u2019etiquetada com a lliure de residus de pesticides.<\/p>\n<h2>Fins a nou pesticides en una sola mostra<\/h2>\n<p>Les maduixes es van comprar principalment en supermercats entre el 29 d\u2019abril i el 2 de juny de 2026 i es van enviar a laboratoris acreditats d\u2019Eurofins. L\u2019informe nom\u00e9s va comptabilitzar concentracions superiors al l\u00edmit de quantificaci\u00f3 de 10 micrograms per quilo.<\/p>\n<p>En total es van identificar 22 subst\u00e0ncies actives diferents. El 61% de les mostres convencionals contenia dos residus o m\u00e9s, amb una mitjana de 3,5 subst\u00e0ncies. Una mostra adquirida a B\u00e8lgica reunia nou residus; dues mostres d\u2019Eslov\u00e8nia i Hongria en contenien vuit, i una d\u2019Irlanda, set.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>El 61% de les maduixes convencionals analitzades contenia residus de m\u00e9s d\u2019un pesticida<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>La majoria dels residus es trobava per sota dels l\u00edmits m\u00e0xims legals. Per tant, la seva detecci\u00f3 no implica autom\u00e0ticament un incompliment de la normativa ni permet determinar, per si sola, un risc sanitari concret. La preocupaci\u00f3 de les organitzacions se centra en el perfil toxicol\u00f2gic d\u2019algunes subst\u00e0ncies i en l\u2019exposici\u00f3 simult\u00e0nia a diferents pesticides.<\/p>\n<h2>PFAS i disruptors endocrins<\/h2>\n<p>El 58,3% de les mostres convencionals contenia almenys un pesticida PFAS, conegut com a \u201cpesticida etern\u201d per la seva elevada persist\u00e8ncia. En l\u201911% se\u2019n van detectar dos o m\u00e9s. L\u2019an\u00e0lisi no va mesurar l\u2019\u00e0cid trifluoroac\u00e8tic o TFA, producte final de degradaci\u00f3 de nombrosos PFAS, perqu\u00e8 requereix un m\u00e8tode anal\u00edtic diferent.<\/p>\n<p>Les subst\u00e0ncies m\u00e9s freq\u00fcents van ser els fungicides fludioxonil, present en el 39% de les mostres convencionals, i ciprodinil, detectat en el 33%. Les avaluacions publicades per l\u2019Autoritat Europea de Seguretat Aliment\u00e0ria van identificar el <a href=\"https:\/\/efsa.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.2903\/j.efsa.2024.9047\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fludioxonil<\/a> i el <a href=\"https:\/\/efsa.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.2903\/j.efsa.2025.9209\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ciprodinil<\/a> com a disruptors endocrins.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, el 56% de les mostres contenia algun pesticida incl\u00f2s en la categoria europea de \u201ccandidats a la substituci\u00f3\u201d. Aquesta figura obliga els estats membres a valorar si aquestes subst\u00e0ncies es poden reempla\u00e7ar per alternatives qu\u00edmiques menys perilloses o per m\u00e8todes no qu\u00edmics. Un 17% tamb\u00e9 presentava algun pesticida considerat neurot\u00f2xic.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu\u00e8 va passar amb les mostres espanyoles?<\/h2>\n<p>A Espanya es van recollir tres mostres: dues de convencionals i una de convencional etiquetada com a lliure de residus. Dues no presentaven quantitats quantificables, mentre que a la tercera es van trobar dues subst\u00e0ncies, entre les quals hi havia l\u2019insecticida spinosad. La mitjana espanyola va ser d\u2019una subst\u00e0ncia per mostra.<\/p>\n<p>El nombre \u00e9s massa redu\u00eft per extreure conclusions sobre el conjunt de les maduixes cultivades o comercialitzades a Espanya. El mateix passa amb les comparacions entre pa\u00efsos: el mateix informe adverteix que el seu mostreig no pret\u00e9n ser estad\u00edsticament representatiu del mercat europeu.<\/p>\n<h2>Les mostres ecol\u00f2giques, sense residus quantificables<\/h2>\n<p>Les quatre mostres de producci\u00f3 ecol\u00f2gica i la mostra etiquetada com a lliure de residus no contenien pesticides en quantitats quantificables. Tampoc en contenia el 22% de les maduixes convencionals.<\/p>\n<p>Tot i que el nombre redu\u00eft de mostres ecol\u00f2giques impedeix generalitzar el resultat, PAN Europe considera que les dades donen suport al desenvolupament de l\u2019agricultura ecol\u00f2gica, la gesti\u00f3 integrada de plagues i les alternatives no qu\u00edmiques disponibles per al cultiu de la maduixa.<\/p>\n<h2>El debat sobre els l\u00edmits i l\u2019efecte c\u00f2ctel<\/h2>\n<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/food.ec.europa.eu\/horizontal-topics\/simplification-legislation\/pesticides-and-mrls_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Comissi\u00f3 Europea<\/a> assenyala que els l\u00edmits m\u00e0xims de residus s\u2019estableixen per garantir un nivell elevat de protecci\u00f3 dels consumidors.
