Thanking the industry for its ‘support and patience during this past difficult year’ Carol Dunning, the show’s event director, wrote to exhibitors and visitors to update them about new Natural & Organics Products Europe show dates which have been confirmed by ExCeL for 3-4 April 2022.

Natural & Organics Products Europe returns in 2022

“We asked for everyone’s feedback on the best course of action and we have now been able to collate the responses from the survey. These responses, coupled with us having recently spoken with a number of our exhibitors, associations and supporters have made it clear that the only responsible course of action for everyone involved is to sadly postpone Natural & Organic Products Europe until 2022”, said Dunning.

“Our industry needs to focus on recovery”

“The overwhelming majority – 98% – of exhibitors completing the survey impressed how important Natural & Organic Products Europe is to the industry it serves, but it was felt by many it would be premature to run the show this year to ensure visitor confidence as well as health and safety of everyone. It was also felt our industry needs to focus on recovery and time needs to be allowed for all businesses/retailers to get back on their feet. It was equally felt that the show needs to get back into its annual April cycle, with many expressing the feeling that an autumn event would disrupt that”.

“We hope that everyone will feel they have been listened to in reaching this extremely tough decision, but we will ensure that 2022 will be the year for the industry to come together once again at the UK’s and Europe’s dedicated natural and organic event”.

“We appreciate how integral Natural & Organic Products Europe is to the industry it serves and are very sorry to disappoint our attendees that were planning on exhibiting and visiting this year”.

The current initiatives will continue

“We certainly did not think we would find ourselves in this position again in 2021 but your input and support in arriving at this decision … has been invaluable and we thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Moving forward together, we will be continuing our current initiatives: Weekly Top 10 product emails sent out each week; Supplier Connect – online directory hosted on www.naturalproductsglobal.com; and Natural Products Meets, monthly webinars, all making sure we are keeping you connected”.

It was also felt our industry needs to focus on recovery and time needs to be allowed for all businesses/retailers to get back on their feet

“Many people have been hugely affected by events of the past few months and we will continue to support our communities in every way we can”.

“We will in the coming weeks work on additional new ways to connect the industry, so please keep in touch and let us know what you are up to. We are so thankful for your patience and support at this very extraordinary time. We look forward to seeing you again in 2022, where we’ll all celebrate the resilience and importance of our industry together”, Dunning concluded.
