Among these, greenwashing stands out, generating distrust and confusion among consumers, as well as unfair competition with producers. Additionally, rising raw material costs, export pressures, and the vulnerability of small producers compared to larger corporations are causes for concern. Other factors, such as drought, pests, and diseases, can lead to reduced agricultural production, abandonment of crops, and a lack of generational succession, all of which hinder the sustainability of local projects.

In response to these difficulties, the sector seeks strategies for adaptation and growth. There is a notable need to raise consumer awareness about the real benefits of ecological products and how to identify them to avoid greenwashing, and to encourage producers to obtain official certifications that guarantee authenticity. Support from institutions is also highlighted as crucial to reduce costs, promote responsible consumption, and ensure fiscal incentives.

All data is managed by Bio Eco Actual, without publishing identifying information and treated anonymously and in aggregate form.
