It is a place for orientation, exchange, and joint creation,\u201d says Dominik Dietz, Director of BIOFACH. \u201cOur task is to highlight the diversity of the sector and to pick up on the ideas that promote sustainable nutrition.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>BIOFACH Congress 2026: Young voices and bold visions<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>BIOFACH Congress 2026<\/strong> invites participants to engage in a cross-generational dialogue that brings together young voices and experienced stakeholders from the field. Under the motto <strong>\u201cGrowing Tomorrow \u2013 Young Voices, Bold Visions,\u201d<\/strong> the organic community will work together to shape perspectives for the future of the sector. The congress offers space for exchange, orientation, and new ideas in eight expert forums and 168 individual sessions \u2013 from market and consumer trends to agriculture, politics, science, and sustainability. For four days, a place will be created where visions, experience, and the courage to change come together.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biofach.de\/en\/congress-programme\/programme-overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The entire conference program, available here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>New products and innovations: trends and startups show where the organic sector is headed<\/h3>\n<p>The<strong> BIOFACH Trends 2026<\/strong>, selected by a trend jury of industry experts, show how diverse the organic market is becoming. The organic sector is increasingly becoming mainstream, which requires a combination of traditional values and future-oriented solutions (Reframing Organic) as well as clear, reduced recipes (Perfectly Simple). The product world is becoming more colorful and is characterized by sensory experiences (Colourful by nature). In addition, modern fermentation and precision processes (Precision meets tradition), functional concepts (Wellbeing in a bottle), and solutions for a healthy microbiome (Oh my gut!) are emerging.<\/p>\n<p>Innovation can be experienced in the exhibition halls: among other things, at the innovation stand, on the trend tours, and on the<strong> INNOVATION STAGE<\/strong>. Here, 31 young companies present new ideas and business models in the <strong>BIOFACH Start-up Pitches<\/strong>. Together with the International Newcomers &amp; Start-ups and the sponsored \u201cYoung Innovators\u201d joint stand, a lively showcase for future solutions is created that offers both guidance and inspiration.<\/p>\n<h3>Impulses, inspiration, and orientation<\/h3>\n<p>The supporting program at BIOFACH 2026 offers a wide range of formats that provide guidance and inspiration. <strong>The PLANETARY HEALTH<\/strong> experience highlights key issues relating to planetary nutrition, dietary change, and whole foods. The special area <strong>Organic Food Service<\/strong> introduces visitors to the world of sustainable communal catering with best practice examples, live formats, and ideas. In addition, the trade fair places a strong emphasis on retail\u2014for example, through the <strong>Retail Forum<\/strong>, the <strong>MeetingPoint BIOimSEH<\/strong>, and guided tours that bring together product range ideas, market trends, and practical solutions. Other highlights include formats such as the <strong>SustainableFutureLab<\/strong>, <strong>Experience the World of OLIVE OIL<\/strong>, and the <strong>NextGen workshop area<\/strong>.
