A practical app to assess sustainability in livestock farming<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The mEATquality app is designed to help farmers and advisors assess the sustainability of poultry and pig farms in a clear, practical, and actionable way.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The mEATquality project<\/strong> is a research initiative funded by the European Union (EU) (Horizon 2020)<\/strong> that studies how to improve the quality of pork and broiler meat<\/strong> by making it more sustainable while ensuring a high level of animal welfare. To achieve this, it develops scientific knowledge and practical solutions together with farmers and supply-chain partners.<\/p>\n

The project is coordinated by Wageningen Research (The Netherlands)<\/strong> and involves a multidisciplinary consortium of 17 partner organisations from seven EU countries<\/strong>. It runs from October 2021 to March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
