From February 21 to 23, the event organized by BolognaFiere and Slow Food returns for its sixth edition.<\/strong> The Slow Wine Fair will host one of the most significant international networks for natural wine, consolidating a model that combines production identity, sustainability, and business opportunities.<\/p>\n

Bologna, 27 October 2026<\/strong> \u2013 In an increasingly competitive wine market, where identity, sustainability and authenticity are playing an ever-greater role in consumer and distribution decisions, the Slow Wine Fair<\/a> is strengthening its international standing. The event, organized by BolognaFiere<\/strong> in collaboration with Slow Food<\/strong> and scheduled for February 21\u201323, 2027<\/strong>, has announced a partnership with RAW WINE<\/a><\/strong>, a leading global community for low-intervention organic, biodynamic and natural wine growers. A partnership that cements the Slow Wine Fair\u2019s position as a platform dedicated to artisanal, sustainable and independent winegrowing<\/strong>, capable of bringing together producers and professionals who share the same vision for wine and its future.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the agreement signed with RAW WINE lies a deep shared commitment to common values and objectives<\/strong>: to promote wine as an authentic expression of its terroir, its biodiversity and the people who produce it.<\/p>\n

On the one hand, there is the Slow Wine Fair, inspired by the principles of the Slow Food Manifesto for good, clean and fair wine<\/strong><\/em><\/a>; on the other, RAW WINE, committed to fostering greater awareness of the value of products obtained through cultivation and processes that respect and preserve biodiversity, from the land to the glass.<\/p>\n

Both share the same focus, therefore, on producers who adopt sustainable agricultural practices in the vineyard and low-intervention techniques in the cellar<\/strong>, allowing the wine to remain a living product capable of evolving and truly reflecting the character of the grape variety and the territory in which it is grown.<\/p>\n

RAW WINE: An international network of artisan winemakers<\/h2>\n

Founded in 2012, RAW WINE now brings together the voices of over 2,000 artisan winemakers<\/strong> and holds a globally recognized position. This is evidenced by its network of trade fairs<\/strong>, which each year reach key hubs in the wine market across Europe, North America and Asia, with Bologna<\/strong> now serving as its Italian stop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The founder of this vibrant community is Isabelle Legeron<\/strong>, the first French woman to earn the prestigious and highly selective title of \u2018Master of Wine\u2019<\/strong>, which the Institute of Masters of Wine in London has so far conferred on just 427 people across 31 countries.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not all: in recognition of her contribution to the wine industry, Legeron is also set to be awarded the Legion of Honour<\/strong>, the highest honour bestowed by the French Republic.<\/p>\n

A dedicated exhibition area and new business opportunities<\/h2>\n

The partnership will come to life in Hall 20<\/strong> of the Slow Wine Fair, where RAW WINE will develop an exhibition area dedicated to international producers of natural, organic, biodynamic and low-intervention wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These winemakers will have the opportunity to connect with a qualified audience of importers, specialized distributors, wine shop owners, sommeliers and professionals from the restaurant and hospitality sectors.<\/p>\n

A programme of tastings and masterclasses<\/strong> will help foster dialogue between wineries and industry professionals, while also highlighting their products.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, RAW WINE producers will benefit from the international reach of the Slow Wine Fair: in its most recent edition, thanks to the support of the Italian Trade Agency<\/strong>, it welcomed 350 buyers from 32 countries<\/strong> and facilitated over 2,000 B2B meetings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
