BIOFACH and VIVANESS: digital and on site<\/h2>\n

Over an 18-month period, the trade fair industry, including BIOFACH and VIVANESS with their 2021 eSPECIAL, were able to acquire positive experience of digital events, and this will come into play at the World’s Leading Fair for Organic Food and the International Trade Fair for Natural and Organic Personal Care. Nevertheless, Danila Brunner remains convinced: \u201cTrade fairs thrive on the live experience, from being able to enjoy an event with all the senses and not least from those chance encounters that can only happen on site. That feeling of being part of a community in our sector is what we we\u2019ve all been longing for, and we\u2019ll experience it again at BIOFACH und VIVANESS 2022\u201d.<\/p>\n

BIOFACH 2022 has evolved<\/h3>\n

Even at first sight, faithful connoisseurs of BIOFACH<\/strong> will realise that something has changed. In 2022, the fair will open its doors as early as Tuesday, and in addition to the on-site event, customers will benefit from extra digital features that offer them the greatest possible added value. Moreover, parts of the congress will be streamed and then made available on demand. In short, the concept trade fair has itself evolved during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

The programme also offers a mix of established favourites and new highlights. Under the theme Organic. Climate. Resilience, which has been developed in partnership with B\u00d6LW and IFOAM, the BIOFACH Congress<\/strong> will explore the socio-political relevant question how to make food production more resilient and climate-friendly whilst applying organic principles. “The time of climate crisis, corona and species crisis and hunger shows: we need stable and resilient food systems. That’s why we are raising the issue of Organic. Climate. Resilience into the focus of the trade fair\u201d, said today in the BIOFACH’s press conference Louise Luttikholt, IFOAM Organics International<\/strong> Executive Director.<\/p>\n

BIOFACH and VIVANESS trade fair will start february the 15th<\/sup><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As farmers make an essential contribution to achieving this goal, they have been given their own dedicated platform, the new\u00a0Agriculture forum<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>There, exhibitors and professionals will be able to share data and impressions on the current state of the sector and its development prospects, as well as the political strategies needed to achieve the European objectives. Tina Andres<\/strong>, President of the Erzeuger-Verbraucher-Genossenschaft (EVG)<\/strong>, added as an example: “To reach the 20 % organic target by 2030, the organic share needs to almost double, so active policies for organic products are needed. People are increasingly moving towards and opting for transformation at the checkout, especially the younger generation”.<\/p>\n

Anyone looking for the latest trending products should check out the\u00a0Novelty Stands<\/strong>\u00a0and can already look forward to the winners of the\u00a0Best New Product Award<\/strong>\u00a0in seven categories. In addition, the\u00a0subsidised pavilion \u201cInnovation made in Germany\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0will showcase 32 newcomers from the food sector. The topic of packaging will already be a prominent feature of this pavilion, but for an even more impressive overview of zero waste and unpackaged concepts, head for the\u00a0bulk food store showcase (\u201cUnverpackt\u201d).<\/strong>\u00a0This special show is presented by the partner Unverpackt e.V. and will be underpinned by corresponding sessions at the congress.<\/p>\n

With an eye on the future<\/h3>\n

The network hubs\u00a0Initiatives & NGOs<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Generation Future<\/strong>\u00a0will continue to provide inspiration for the future. Once again, the\u00a0Organic Food Industry Research Award (BioThesis)<\/strong>\u00a0will be presented at the Generation Future hub during the trade fair.\u00a0Next Generation<\/strong>\u00a0provides a networking hub mainly for start-ups and the subsequent generations of established companies. And last but not least, there are culinary treats in store for connoisseurs and other adventurous foodies at the \u201cworlds of experience\u201d\u00a0Olive Oil, Vegan<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Wine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Summing up, Danila Brunner says:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cOn site<\/strong>, exhibitors, visitors and media representatives can experience the comprehensive range of exhibits, innovations and trends, network face-to-face, and delve into the congress live and instantaneously.\u00a0Online<\/strong>, the sector can also benefit from the digital representations of exhibitor product ranges, use the communication and appointment-making tools to network over and beyond the physical event, and enjoy parts of the congress in digital format.\u201d<\/p>\n

BIOFACH and VIVANESS 2022 \u2013 a sure thing!<\/h3>\n

The hygiene concept for BIOFACH and VIVANESS is based on the framework hygiene concept for trade fairs and exhibitions valid in Bavaria. The hygiene concept has already proved its worth at all events held on the N\u00fcrnbergMesse site since September 2021 and has been successfully implemented and accepted. It goes without saying that BIOFACH and VIVANESS are held in compliance with the hygiene and protection measures applicable by the authorities at the time of the event. With our concepts, which we can adapt to the legal requirements at short notice depending on the pandemic situation, we can create a framework in which networking and business can take place with a good feeling.<\/p>\n

Head of security of BioFachVivaness, Heinz Prie\u00dfmann<\/strong>, adds: “We were able to gain a lot of experience with live fairs, test our concepts and keep improving them. You get the complete package of security at Biofach!”.<\/p>\n
