Eco Living Scandinavia<\/strong> and the Nordic Organic Food Fair<\/strong> celebrated its 10-year anniversary with one of the most successful events to date. The unmissable trade show for organic and sustainable products opened its doors to thousands of buyers, retailers and industry professionals last week at Malm\u00f6M\u00e4ssan<\/strong> \u2013 attracting a total of 3858 attendees<\/strong> across the two days (a 5% increase since 2021).<\/p>\n

10th edition of Eco Living Scandinavia & Nordic Organic Food Fair<\/h2>\n

Sampling, networking, learning and sharing ideas, the event was buzzing with important business activity from start to finish. The trade show featured a whole new look and layout, 3 revamped sub areas, over 60 speakers, a world-class seminar programme, a new beauty influencer event, and the biggest hosted buyer programme to date. As a result, Eco living Scandinavia & the Nordic Organic Food Fair recorded a 20% increase in buyers who have a purchasing power with more than \u20ac5,000,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Poland<\/strong> was named Nordic Organic Food Fair\u2019s ‘Country of the Year’ for its commitment to organic practices. And so, the opening of the show was celebrated with a special ribbon cutting with Polish Ambassador to Sweden, Joanna Hofman<\/strong> and Managing Director of Diversified Communication, Carsten Holm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first ever \u2018EgenV\u00e5rdDistribution: LIVE Pitch to the Buyer\u2019 showcased a selection of exhibitors who were hoping to secure a listing with the leading health retailer, EgenV\u00e5rdDistribution<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Nordic Organic Food Fair is brilliant, and a great way to meet new people, network with people in the culinary world and to find new planet-based suppliers, especially for the Copenhagen market,” comments freelance chef, Anna Carina Mullins<\/strong> on the show floor.<\/p>\n

The show\u2019s comprehensive seminar programme hosted some of the biggest names in the industry \u2013 including talks from Organic Denmark, IFOAM Organics Europe, Organic Sweden, Ecovia Intelligence, KRAV, Svensk Egenv\u00e5rd, KOSMETIK magazine, NATRUE and more. Presenting their products to the EVD buying team live in front of an audience, Blooming Blends (herbal tinctures), Hello Day Ltd (supplements), Les Miraculeux (gummies), SIA KALE LATVIA (kale chips), and The Good Roll (bamboo toilet roll) all secured further talks with the distributor as the buying team were \u2018so impressed\u2019 with all the exhibitor pitches.<\/p>\n

The Innovation Awards<\/strong> celebrated the best new products at the show<\/strong>, which were presented by Event Director Melina Viking and Diversified Communications Managing Director, Carsten Holm. The awards began by acknowledging Poland as County of the Year. Malgorzata Gosniowska Kola \u2013 Deputy Director General of National Support Centre for Agriculture and Sebastian Magier, Head of Foreign Trade Office at the Polish Investment & Trade Agency accepted their certificates.<\/p>\n

Voted by visitors across 16 categories<\/strong> \u2013 the shortlisted products for the Innovation Awards were judged by industry experts Mikael Nordlund (WellAware), Diana MalcangI (NATRUE), Cressida Langlands (Free From Food Awards) and Pim Bendt (Naturskyddsf\u00f6reningen).<\/p>\n
