The European Organic Congress 2025 (EOC2025) is set to take place in Warsaw, Poland, from 25–27 June, bringing together a dynamic mix of policymakers, farmers, businesses, researchers to shape the next era of organic in Europe. Co-organised by IFOAM Organics Europe, PIZE – Polish Chamber of Organic Food, and the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, EOC2025 will be held within the framework of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

From the next Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the new Vision for Agriculture and Food to the evolution of the EU Organic Regulation, the Congress will also spotlight generational renewal to empower the next wave of organic professionals. The Congress opens with remarks from the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, setting the tone for a packed programme of action-oriented dialogue. Throughout the Congress, attendees will hear from Herbert Dorfmann, Member of the European Parliament and key figure in the AGRI Committee, who will delve into the evolving Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and what it means for organic. Meanwhile, Luis Carazo Jimenez, Head of the Organics Unit at DG AGRI (European Commission), will shed light on the ongoing simplification of the EU Organic Regulation and what’s coming next.
The economics of organic farming will take centre stage in a keynote by Dr. Jürn Sanders, Chair of FiBL Switzerland and President of FiBL Europe, while Michel Reynaud, Vice President of Ecocert Group, and Jérémie Vidal, President of Ecocert, will contribute insights on regulation, certification, and youth leadership in the sector. When it comes to global market trends, a panel featuring international experts from the US, China, and Europe, including Prof. Yuhui Qiao, Tom Chapman, Lee Holdstock and Prof. Sylwia Żakowska-Biemans, will explore where organic is heading worldwide.
