EcorNaturaSì’s positive results for the first half of 2025 were presented together with the 2024 Impact Report, a document that provides tangible evidence of the company’s ongoing commitment to pursuing the ambitious environmental, social and economic goals that have defined its mission since its inception.

EcorNaturaSì, a long-standing benefit corporation and leader in organic and biodynamic products in Italy, confirms the positive trend in the sector. In the first half of 2025, turnover grew by 7.6% compared to the same period last year, while sales volumes increased by 5.1%.

In light of these results, President Fabio Brescacin, interviewed by Corriere del Veneto, ruled out that the growth was linked to a polarisation of customers: ‘The price difference compared to traditional food has been greatly reduced,’ he explained, “and fruit and vegetables have now reached high levels even in conventional supermarkets. If consumers avoid hasty and impulsive spending, organic food is within the reach of many more Italians than is commonly believed.”

For Brescacin, this is more of a “cultural” issue than an economic one, and this awareness promises to continue to bring great satisfaction to the Treviso-based holding company. ‘The organic segment in Italy is worth 3.1% and we represent 1% of that, so there is enormous room for growth.’

Turnover up 7.6% and gender equality above targets

During 2024, the company strengthened its presence in the area with 10 new openings, reaching a total of 330 NaturaSì stores. The customer base also grew: +6% in 2025 compared to the previous year. The loyalty programme accounted for 69% of total turnover in 2024, demonstrating the high level of customer loyalty.

To support this development, EcorNaturaSì has planned a €10 million investment programme for the renovation of 22 stores and 12 new projects, including openings, extraordinary operations and acquisitions. In addition, through its subsidiary Ecorway, it hired 98 people in 2024 for logistics and distribution activities, to support the reorganisation of the supply chain and technological upgrading.

On the social front, 2024 saw some important results: 90.43% of EcorNaturaSì employees are now on permanent contracts, exceeding the target set for 2026 by two years.

The company has also achieved and exceeded its gender equality targets: women represent 60.21% of the workforce, well above the 50% target set for 2026.

Finally, in support of organic farming, some producers in the NaturaSì ecosystem have benefited from an innovative bond issue, which has raised €1,617,000 for farmers.
