Following the recent announcement of Tradin Organic’s acquisition of Citromil, a key step in strengthening its integrated citrus supply chain, both companies have now officially marked the signing of their partnership. CEOs Floris Wesseling and Roberto Vilaplana Perez came together to celebrate this important milestone.
The signing formalizes the agreement for Tradin Organic to acquire 100% of Citromil, a citrus processing facility based in Murcia, Spain, Europe’s leading citrus-growing regions. As a well-established producer of organic citrus ingredients, Citromil brings decades of experience and strong capabilities in juices, concentrates, and essential oils.
This milestone represents the next step in building a more connected value chain, linking sourcing, processing, and end markets more closely, and further strengthening Tradin Organic’s position in the citrus category.
For both companies, this moment reflects a long-standing relationship built on trust and collaboration. Over the years, Tradin Organic and Citromil have worked closely together, developing a strong partnership across the citrus supply chain.
With the agreement now formalized, the focus will shift toward integration and collaboration. Both teams will work closely together to ensure continuity for customers and partners, while unlocking new opportunities for innovation, value creation, and sustainable growth.
With the new citrus season approaching after the Spanish summer, both teams are looking forward to working closely together to deliver a strong and successful crop.
