With the Natural Beauty Theatre’s full seminar line-up now confirmed, Natural Products Scandinavia – taking place at MalmöMässan in Sweden, on 15-16 November – will host exclusive sessions from some of the biggest names in natural and organic beauty, including Natrue, Tree of Brands, AllergyCertified, Kosmetikk, NOC Sweden, Naturligt Snygg, and Ecovia Intelligence.

“I’ve been visiting Natural Products Scandinavia for three years, and I love the friendly and engaging atmosphere.  It’s really international with exhibitors from many parts of the world,” says Kristine Rødland, editor-in-chief of Kosmetikk (Norway).  She’ll be sharing her favourite products from the show floor, combined with insights on the latest beauty trends in the Natural Beauty Theatre, at 4pm on 15 November.

“At Natural Products Scandinavia, I’m looking forward to speaking to new brands looking to enter the Swedish and Nordic markets, and there’ll be opportunities to spot some new and coming trends,” says Henrik Olténg, founder of NOC Sweden and previous managing director of Weleda (Nordic).

One of the key themes for 2017’s seminar programme includes opportunities for continued growth and trends within the region.  Henrik Olténg will be speaking with Emma Bergqvit, president of NOC Sweden and co-founder of Tree of Brands about the development of natural, organic cosmetics in Sweden, and what it takes to succeed in this market.  Emma Bergqvit will also be joining fellow Tree of Brands’ co-founder, Tove Svanlind for a session on ‘the next generation of organic beauty’ –  discussing the company’s journey and their dedicated ambition to make ‘eco-beauty a natural part of women’s everyday life’.

“The customer’s demand for organic and efficient cosmetics, together with new trendy brands, is the key to success.  Brands that communicate not only natural, organic and environmentally friendly, but also beauty, modern style and efficacy,” says Emma Bergqvit.

“I’m looking forward to meeting some fantastic people who are engaged in the same topics as I am, also to learn more and broaden my network,” she adds.

Iveta Kovacova, research analyst at Ecovia Intelligence (previously Organic Monitor) is primed to highlight the future of ethical labels for cosmetics and personal care products, whilst Dr. Mark Smith, director general of Natrue, will be discussing regulatory developments (impact on ingredients, products and claims) for natural and organic cosmetics, and future opportunities for the sector.

The seminar programme is also renowned for providing visitors with invaluable business tips and advice from a number of leading industry experts.  Ewa Daniél, toxicologist and founder of AllergyCertified, will be unveiling her tips about how to avoid skin allergies and how to make cosmetic products more skin friendly, whilst Hannah Sjöström, editor-in-chief of naturligtsnygg.se, will be providing ideas on how to capture new audiences through communication and ways to improve SEO and ROI.
