Biggest ever Natural Food Show releases exclusive preview of new food & drink launches for 2019. There’s a record number of new food and drink launches to discover at The Natural Food Show next month, on 7-8 April, at London ExCeL.

What’s on the menu at The Natural Food Show?

Part of Natural & Organic Products Europe, which attracts over 10,000 attendees annually, the show is a ‘must attend’ for discovering emerging trends and innovations that you won’t see – or sample – anywhere else.

The following is just a taste of what’s new for 2019:

Raw Press is launching its innovative healthy snack alternative, Pronuts.  This raw, vegan, gluten-free protein snack bar comes in a donut form, with a base of oats, cashews, dates and hemp protein powder, and a bean-to-bar chocolate icing in three exciting flavours: matcha, chocolate and rose (stand Q30, UK).

Connie’s Kitchen Ketchup is launching its organic tomato ketchup with no added sugar.  Naturally sweetened with whole fruits and vegetables, the Connie’s Kitchen Sauce Range also includes a Jalapeno Ketchup and BBQ Sauce (stand ZA72, Switzerland).

Clive’s Pies is launching 100% vegan classic pies and 100% vegan gluten-free pies, as part of their range of organic meat-free pies that are handmade in Devon using carefully sourced ingredients (stand ZA42, UK)

Clearspring is adding four new flavours to their Organic Italian Vinegars range which includes Peach, Raspberry, Matcha, Lemon and Ginger; and Turmeric & Black Pepper. These new Organic Apple Cider Vinegars are made in Italy using cold pressed organic apple juice. They are unpasteurised, unfiltered and contain the ‘Mother’ culture (stand N10, UK).

Yutaka – Tazaki Food is introducing ‘The Yutaka range’, a selection of traditional Japanese food products which now includes ingredients for sushi, sauces, soups, rice, noodles and “easy-to-use” meal kits (stand K10, UK).

Premcrest Distribution is launching Divine’s new temptingly rich high cocoa dark chocolate range, made with specially sourced organic cocoa from tropical São Tomé.  Flavours include: Dark Chocolate, Turmeric & Ginger, Refreshing Lemon, Cocoa Nibs, and Blueberry Popped Quinoa (stand M2, UK)

Organica Vita London is introducing its Organic Adventure Food set designed for outdoor sports.  It offers healthy food products in one practical “takeaway” packaging (2xplant proteins, 4xnut butters, chia, mulberries).  Eat it directly without any add-ons or preparation (stand R6, SA & OTB Food Pavilion, UK).

Singapore Coconut Company is introducing Purity CocoSnow, the softest form of coconut ever.  Made with a proprietary process using coconut kernel, this powder can be added straight from the jar onto any sweet or savoury treat.  Combine with melted dark chocolate, nuts, fruit, and seeds to form a basic energy ball base (stand Z12, Vegan World, Singapore).

Premium ethical soft drinks brand Gusto Organic is launching Sicilian Lemon with Yuzu.  Made with blends of fresh yuzu juice, Sicilian lemon essential oil, and Devon spring water, it’s a refreshingly complex take on the ever-popular lemonade genre (stand K2, UK).

DF Fresh is introducing its range of organic fruit, vegetables and herbs at the show, including passionfruit, mangoes, physalis and fresh basil.  Having had 20 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry in the UK, DF Fresh focus on responsible farming and high-quality certified produce (stand S27, Columbia).

Cocofina’s Coconut Water & High Strength Turmeric is making its debut at the show.  This is a perfect melding between the rehydrating properties of coconut water with the superfood quality of 10x strength/bioavailability turmeric into a 200ml organic drink, which is also free of plastic packaging (stand P7, UK).

La San Mauro is introducing Polpa Di Pomodoro, a range of tomato preserves including tomato sauce and chopped tomatoes, grown in Piacenza, Emilia Romagna.  Also showcasing: various types of flour including classic, whole-wheat and pizza flour (stand W28, Italy).

MozzaRisella is launching YÒ-Risello, a yoghurt made from germinated brown rice.  Containing no sugar, fats or allergens, it comes in five natural fruit flavours including: peach & apricot, mango & maracuja, strawberry, and berries (stand Y35, Vegan World, UK).

Adam’s Cold Pressed Chocolate is re-launching its vegan raw chocolate range sweetened with yacon in beautifully illustrated white and black craft paper pouches.  The popular 70g pouches and 90g gift boxes are Soil Association, Vegan Society and Salsa certified (stand X17, UK).

Pure Joy Honey is launching its new range of organic 100% traceability honey in three varieties: Dawa, Malagarasi and Kigoma (representing where the honey is sourced). These ethical honeys contain no nasty chemicals as they come from forests far from tarmac road and formal agriculture.  Trace the journey with a web app from the forest of Tanzania to home (stand P14, Tanzania).

Just Wholefoods is celebrating its 30th birthday with a stylish rebrand of its 19-strong product range. Accompanying the new look is the launch of its much-anticipated organic and vegan Sunflower Mince.  All Just Wholefoods products are now certified vegan (stand Y27, Vegan World, UK).

Ayurveda Pura London is re-launching its Ayurvedic 100% Organic Herbal Teas in a new box format.  These vegan formulated teas according to Dosha have sold for over 14 years in a ‘jar’ and ‘loose leaf’ format and now have new names and more eco-friendly packaging (stand P5, UK),

The Green Milk Co has found a way to pack its 1 litre Almond Drink into a 40ml bottle.  This organic, premium, eco-friendly, easy-to-carry, ambient, easy-to-store, plant-based drink is made with Val di Noto almonds and stevia – just add water (stand M8, Ireland).

Thavmasio Rodi is launching Liquid Ruby organic pomegranate juice, derived from trees grown with compost enriched with probiotic microorganisms and fish oil fatty acids.  The juice has not gone through any artificial processing, is 100% pure and contains no preservatives or additives (stand W38G, Greece).

Mallow Puffs is introducing its super-puffy, gluten-free and vegan marshmallows, in plain or dunked in Belgian dark chocolate. Launching in three popular flavours, vanilla bean, salted caramel, and raspberry, they are presented in 100g bags and resealable stand up pouches (stand Y23, Vegan World, Belgium).

FMV SRL – felsineoveg is launching Good&Green Organic Plant-Based Deli Slices with Turmeric and Ginger.  These two superfoods provide a tasty but nutritional snack.  Also showcasing: its entire organic plant-based range of deli slices which are high in proteins and low in fat – including ham flavoured, black pepper, and speck flavoured meat alternatives (stand V21, Italy).

Planet Organic is launching Nut Butter cups in three flavours; hazelnut, peanut and almond.  Made with premium raw chocolate that has been cold-pressed to preserve the cacao’s nutrients, they have a creamy roasted nut butter centre.  On top of being organic, gluten-free, vegan and soy-free, they’re also free from refined sugar (stand V7, UK).

Monari Federzoni spa is introducing its new range of soft drinks made from balsamic vinegar of Modena, apple cider vinegar, Italian fruit juices and natural flavours.  They are artisanal, organic, detoxifying, vegan, low in calories, gluten and GMO-free (stand S23, Italy).

Chewsy is launching its new range of natural, plastic-free chewing gum that’s biodegradable.  Made with no aspartame, artificial sweeteners, flavours or preservatives, it’s sugar-free and sweetened with 100% xylitol for healthy teeth (stand X9, UK).

Fresystem SPA – Cupiello is launching sourdough croissants with natural fillings that are low in sugar and made without artificial additives.  Also showcasing: organic and vegan croissants, pomegranate muesli-bars, granola muffins, and mono cakes (stand V27, Italy).

Topas GmbH is launching its Wheaty Vegan Superhero BurgerThese new seitan patties feel firm and juicy, and are 100% organic, dairy-free, egg-free and palm oil free for a tasty, healthy and vegan-friendly option (stand Z20, Germany).

Natural Health is launching its smooth and creamy Wedderspoon Monofloral Manuka Honey (KFactor 16) that comes in a convenient, easy-to-squeeze, recyclable plastic bottle.  This raw, unpasteurised Manuka honey comes direct from New Zealand, and can be used with cereal, porridge, shakes and drinks (stand S7, UK).

Borna Foods is offering six different pistachio butters that are made from hand selected pistachios.  Packed full of nutritional benefits, including healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, the range of flavours include: Sweet Roast, Rich Cocao, Coco Nutty and Seedy-Kick (stand X11, UK).

Nutural World – 100% nut butters is introducing its Nutty Chocolate Spread – a new addition to their certified vegan, sugar-free and Kosher nut spreads.  Using just a blend of nuts, dates and cacao, the stone ground spread is silky smooth, nutritionally rich and highly versatile.  Made by a multi-award-winning producer based in London (stand Y15, UK).

Nova Organic Energy is launching its Organic Energy Herbal Blend and Organic Energy Drinks.  Made with 1.400mg bioactive compounds (+/- 25.000mg of fresh organic herbs) extracted from seven herbal adaptogens, flavours in the range include: Passion, Mango & Mint; Organic, Elderflower & Lime; Pomegranate; and Blueberry & Ginger (stand P25, Belgium).

Biogroupe is introducing Ginger Beer by Karma, an alcohol-free, 100% organic soft drink, with no added sweeteners and a genuine ginger taste, thanks to its natural fermentation. Ethically made, it’s Fair Trade and bottled with the help of disabled people and is carbon compensated.  Also showcasing YA COCO, a coconut dairy-free yoghurt (stand R20, France).

Captain Kombucha is showcasing its Oh My Gutness drink at the show.  This sparkling fruit drink fermented with water kefir grains is full of gut-friendly bacteria, low in calories and dairy-free.  It comes in a can and is available in four different flavours: Original, Ginger & Lemon, Atlantic Raspberry, and Natural Cola (stand R26, UK).

Lost Coast Food Co. is expanding its line of Sparkling Apple Cider Vinegar Juices into a new 250ml aluminium can format.  The juices are a blend of sparkling water, unique fruits and botanicals combined with a daily dose of ACV – available in three refreshing flavours: Mango, Turmeric & Ginger; Blueberry, Elderberry & Lemon; and Strawberry, Hibiscus & Rose (stand R36, UK).

Concious Chocolate has just re-branded and is launching with the new eco-packaging (recyclable outer, printed with vegetable inks and a water varnish, plus an inner wrapper that is plant-based and a home compostable film).  All bars are vegan, organic, soy-free, dairy-free, gluten-free and refined sugar-free (stand Z14, Vegan World, UK)

Bellygoodness is promoting its range of gut-friendly, all natural, plant-based cooking sauces.  The five-strong vegan range avoids ingredients that commonly irritate the gut.  All sauces are free from: gluten, dairy, added sugar, tomato, onion, yeast, nuts, soya, artificial colours and sweeteners (stand ZA70, USA).

Bauck GmbH is showcasing its organic bread mix for gluten-free wholemeal oat bread, made with 36.5% wholemeal oats and 57% seeds.  Easy to prepare with no flour, no yeast and no sugar – it’s also rich in omega-3 fatty acids and is a good source of protein (stand ZA58, Germany).

Bravura Foods is presenting its Freedom Mallows Choc Bites in Chocolate Vanilla flavour and Chocolate Strawberry.  Also showcasing: its full vegan portfolio including: Free From Fellows, Little Miracles, Captain Kombucha, Vegan Bakery, and Panda Liquorice (stand Y12, UK).

Rawito – Meruzalka is showcasing its 100% natural ice-cream, made from only plant-based raw materials including peanut butter, coconut sugar, lucuma, ceylon cinnamon, cocoa butter, coconut oil, fruits and more.  Ingredients are processed at low temperatures, so nutritional and enzymatic qualities are preserved.  Flavours include: Goji, Vanilla & Dates, Apple & Plum, Coconut, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter (stand Z10, Czech Republic).

Taifun-Tofu GmbH is promoting its Tofu Crispers in three flavour combinations, including Carrot & Cumin, Beetroot & Horseradish, and Peas & Herbs.  Fried in oil, these crunchy tofu snacks are ideal in wraps and salads and can be used in vegetable or potato dishes (stand S18, Germany).

Bragg UK is showcasing Organic Coconut Liquid aminos, a gourmet soy-free alternative to soy sauce.  This seasoning is made from organic non-GMO coconut blossom nectar, Bragg organic apple cider vinegar and Balinese sea salt.  The all-purpose seasoning is also alcohol-free, gluten-free, dairy-free and Kosher (stand X1, UK).

Sweet Revolution has launched a new Barista Blend range of their super blend lattes.  Following the success of their instant blends available in retail packs, the new Barista Blends are aimed at the foodservice sector.  The blends are organic, vegan, and free from dairy and refined sugar (stand Q8, UK).

Living Planet Distribution is presenting Planet Paleo’s new Pure Gelatine powder, which is extremely versatile and easy to use in cooking because it is tasteless and dissolves easily.  Planet Paleo’s high-quality products have been derived from pasture-raised beef (stand M40, UK).

CLF Distribution is showcasing Just Natural’s new range of nuts, seeds, oats, and dried fruits which are now available in certified plastic-free packaging.  The company are constantly looking for ways to reduce impact on the planet’s resources and reduce plastic waste (stand ZA26, UK).

Upton’s Naturals is presenting its plant-based proteins, Italian Seitan and Bacon Seitan, now available from US-based vegan brand Upton’s Naturals.  Together with Jackfruit and Real Meal Kits, this line also offers food service options (stand Y30, United States).

Fiovana Drinks is showcasing Elderflower, Lychee & Green Tea – the newest edition to Fiovana’s Superfruit Cordial range.  With no added sugar and nothing artificial, it’s a blend of a traditional cordial recipe with an exotic twist to deliver a different drinking experience (stand Z44, UK)

General Mills is introducing its new brand, Lärabar, to a UK market.  This fruit and nut bar comes in three new flavours – Banana Choc Chip, Peanut Butter Choc Chip, and Apple Cinnamon.  Founded in 2000 by female entrepreneur Lara Merriken, the brand is 100% vegan, gluten-free, and contains no added sugar or flavours (stand R10, Switzerland).

Tony’s Chocolonely exists to end slavery in the chocolate industry.  The range includes its new Milk Caramel Sea Salt bar and Dark Almond Sea Salt.  This ethical company wishes to lead by example and show the world that chocolate can be made differently in taste, packaging and the way we treat cocoa farmers (stand U10, UK).

Alara Wholefoods is promoting its Alara Golden Crisp Organic and Gluten Free Granola, which has no added refined sugar and is suitable for vegans.  Packed in home compostable film, it’s made with oats grown in Scotland that are hand baked with crispy rice and coconut blossom nectar to create crunchiness (stand N11, UK).

Nush is presenting its Sweet Chilli Almond Milk Cheese, the UK’s only cultured, almond milk spreadable cheese. Made from the finest almond milk, it’s vegan-friendly, dairy, soya, coconut and refined sugar free.  Containing 60 almonds in every pot, it’s a natural source of plant-based protein (stand Q25, UK).

Biona – Amisa – Bonsan is showcasing its new meat-free organic jackfruit range, which includes shredded Jackfruit in Plain & Smoky Barbecue Sauce and Teriyaki & Thai Flavoured Jackfruit Cubes, which can be used in Asian inspired stir-fries, served with sticky rice (stand M9, UK).

Hilltop Honey is promoting its Bee Pollen that has a pure and natural spectrum of colour and an earthy, yet sweet flavour.  Offering various nutritional values, the product is high in protein, boasting 3g in a single serving (based on a 15g tablespoon serving) (stand Q36, UK).

Moo Free Chocolates is showcasing its dairy-free/vegan chocolate range.  Carefully crafted with their famous multi-award winning ‘milk’ chocolate and a brand new organic 65% dark chocolate, flavours include: Sea Salt & Caramel, Dark 85%, Original, Cinder Toffee, Sea Saly & Lime, and Dark 65% (stand Z32, UK).
