New speakers from Lidl (Gabriella Goldman), Retail House (Martin Moström) and Too Good To Go (Heidi Boye) complete the impressive line-up of presenters for next month’s inaugural Sustainability in Retail Forum in Malmö. Taking place on 13 November 2019, at MalmöMässan, Sweden, the event is co-located with the award-winning trade exhibitions Nordic Organic Food Fair and Eco Life Scandinavia.

Sustainability in Retail Forum

The Sustainability in Retail Forum has been developed to help senior executives within leading retailers from across the Nordic region meet the ever-evolving challenges around sustainability. The conference will bring together thought leaders and experts to provide crucial insight on a variety of sustainability issues within the retail environment.

Newly confirmed is Gabriella Goldman, CMO & COO of Lidl Sweden, who will share expert insights into repositioning a brand as sustainable in her session ‘Moving a brand’ (3.20pm). She’ll also appear in the forum’s ‘Final thoughts’ panel (4.20pm) summarising the day’s discussions, alongside Jesper Frederiksen (COOP Danmark) and Johan Cejie (Moreganic Sourcing AB).

Also joining the line-up is Martin Moström, CEO of Retail House. He’ll be sharing his expertise – gained during more than twenty years working at the top level of management in the Nordic region – in the ‘What seems to work? What does not?’ panel (12pm), alongside Jesper Frederiksen (COOP Danmark) and Johannes Cullberg (Paradiset).

Heidi Boyle, country manager Denmark at Too Good To Go, will take to the stage in ‘Building partnerships to reduce food waste in retail’ (1.50pm). She’ll also join Anna-Kajsa Lidell (Food For Progress) and Hanne Söndergaard (Arla) for a panel session to discuss how supplier communication strategies differ from retailer (2.05pm).

They’ll join leading figures in Nordic retailing and consumer brands, together with some of Europe’s best-known sustainability strategists – including speakers from Sustainable Brand Index, Futerra Sweden, Kesko K Group, Food for Progress, Marine Stewardship Council, Organic Denmark, Miltton Purpose, and Miljömärkning Sverige AB.
