BIOEXPO Warsaw survived the pandemic and getting stronger!

The PWE sanitary safety team spent the last weeks on developing standards for events which will take place at the Ptak Warsaw Expo in a new sanitary conditions. We are absolutely sure that the implemented procedures guarantee that the organization of the event meets the safety requirements without detriment the quality of the event and comfort of participants.

This year’s research shows that currently value of the Polish organic food market is estimated at 1.1 billion PLN and the growth rate – even at 20% per year. In Europe this value is 40.7 billion EUR with an increase of 8% per year, while the global organic food market has exceeded the value of 100 billion EUR. In addition to the growing interest of ecological food products, there is also an increase in demand for cosmetics, cleaning products, packaging and biodegradable dishes. Another upward trend is zero waste, an example of which is the opening of the first Rossmann in Poland in a new format with a refill station.

Good economic indicators and the constantly growing popularity of products from organic, ecological and zero waste segment confirms the organizer of the BIOEXPO Warsaw in the belief that this event will grow from year to year. Up to now, over 160 companies from Poland (for example: Bioplanet, Smak Natury, Farma Świętokrzyska, Eko-Wital, Eco & More, Better Land, Dary Natury, Surovital, Merkury, NaturAvena, Bioberry, Eurus, Bonus Plus and Carrefour) as well as from abroad (Czech Republic, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Korea) have confirmed their participation in the second edition of the fair. “It is also worth emphasizing that the event has strictly business character and we will put more emphasis on this aspect. We create the perfect space for conducting professional talks and establishing new business contacts. We are actively registering visitors and we already have known that this year BIOEXPO Warsaw plans to visit over 5,000 people, particularly large retail chains and decision makers from FMCG sector, wholesalers and specialist stores, as well as representatives of the HoReCa sector. B2B registration takes place via a special form available on our website, informs Agata Szczepaniak – Project Director.

BIOEXPO Warsaw is also a unique opportunity to learn about trends and novelties. New products, services and technologies will be presented in the Novelty Zone and will compete in the Competition for the best Product of BIOEXPO 2020.

During the fair will be organized the BIOEXPO Congress – unique on a Polish scale will comprehensively deals with the subject of agriculture and ecological food, organic and natural cosmetics and cleaning products. The Congress also raises the subject of health and threats to health which civilization brings to our planet and many other topics. The aim of the Congress is to disseminate knowledge about the quality of organic products amongst many groups of recipients including conventional farmers, food producers and processors, governmental and non-governmental institutions and consumers. In addition, as part of this year’s Congress, the Conference of the Polish Chamber of Packaging is planned.

“Stimulating the economy and restoring economic balance will be possible only if we start meeting again and talking about cooperation. That is why those who are planning their near and further future in the bio industry should definitely write the date of the BIOEXPO Warsaw fair on their calendars and don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet business contractors and establish new relationships”, adds Szczepaniak.
